Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Mövenpick, I was drawn to their culinary offerings, particularly at their rooftop bar, Teras Bar and Grill. After exploring the rich history of the area, I decided to treat myself that evening. The ambiance was relaxed yet elegant, making for the perfect backdrop for my meal. I opted for traditional Turkish cuisine, which was expertly prepared. The combination of spices was more than satisfying. I also tried some international dishes, and the fusion was intriguing-though I find the flavors generally more subdued compared to my beloved Sichuan cuisine back in Shanghai. Breakfast was a casual affair; while there wasn't a plethora of hot options, I appreciated the fresh fruits and the delightful local teas. One surprise was the need to order scrambled eggs from the cook-an interesting twist in the breakfast routine! the spacious rooms and convenient location made this hotel a solid choice. If you're looking for a blend of historic charm and culinary experiences in a vibrant setting, consider the Mövenpick for your next getaway.
